Whatsapp is really a good socializing software that allows you to chat with your friends from your smartphone free of cost.It is the most popular messaging app for Android and iOS smartphones, and rightly so! It connects people from around the world. But the problem is, it's only made for smartphones. You can't use it well on older/feature phones. And even if you do own a smartphone, it drains away your precious battery time, since it needs internet connectivity to do its thing.So I decided to write this article for my those friends who want to use this sizzling and cool messenger on their Desktop pc.
Things required :
The tools or rather software that you need is a simple Android emulator for PC/Mac. The one we’ll be using is the well-known Bluestacks App Player you can download from the link provided below:

And yes, WhatsApp will need your cell-number so you better make sure you have one.
Your system must have a 1 GB+ RAM for running the emulator. Good graphics card and processor will obviously result in better rendering but a simple one would also do. Mac OS X or PC with XP SP3, Vista, 7 and 8 are supported.
Procedure:
Step 1 : First of all , download and install Bluestacks app player. It’s a straight forward installation.
Step 2 : Run the player from the desktop icon. You’ll get to a screen similar to the one shown below:
Step 3 : Click on the Search icon and search for WhatsApp.
Step 4 : Select WhatsApp Messenger from the list and proceed to the installation. It might also ask you for a Google account, just provide that (if you have smartphone you can also use the one associated with your phone ).Since it is an Android emulator, you’ll be navigated to Google Play. Click Install and it’ll start the downloading like below :
Step 5: Now you’ll see WhatsApp just Click on it.
Step 6: Accept Terms and Condition.
Step 7: Type your Mobile Number in the Field.
Note:
First type your Country Code like 92 for Pakistan and then your Mobile Number.
Step 8: Now WhatsApp will try to verify your number, but it will show fail message.
Step 9: Now click on Call Me and You’ll receive an automatic call with a confirmation number, write down that number.
Step 10: Now type the received number in verification field and your done!

How to Add Contacts to WhatsApp ?
In Phone WhatsApp automatically checks for your contacts but in PC you have to add it manually. Follow below steps to add contacts in Whatsapp using Bluestacks it's very easy :) .
Step 1: Open WhatsApp in Bluestack.
Step 2: Click on Menu icon at the Bottom

Step 3: Now Click on Contacts Icon.
Step 4: Now there will be an other menu icon.Click on that Icon.
Step 5: Click on Add Contact.
Step 6: Fill the given fields with Contact Number and Name.
Step 7: Click on Done.
Conclusion :
Once you’re done, you’ll be able to use WhatsApp normally from your Windows PC or Mac.
